Abstract

In 2023, the project titled “Educational Evaluation of the ADC Application (adapt the design to the context) was carried out, Faculty of Architecture of the University of San Carlos of Guatemala, with students of the Architectural Design III course, which in 2022 participated in the application phase of the survey (Google forms) providing information about the needs and priorities of the course, which is fundamental for the Architecture degree at USAC, because it provides elements such as the technical study carried out by topographers who will determine the physical characteristics of the terrain, investigate the climate, winds, sunlight, pollution, guides and worksheets, know the sociocultural context, approach the felt needs of the community, have the notion that design is not for the student but for the other (user), analogous cases, values, principles and ethics, the layout and the sketch as well as the master plan of the set of slopes, geometric abstraction, and finally the advice of the teachers to the students, this phase also contains elements that are were uploaded to the website that is part of the educational application managed by the Academic Development Division of the USAC,...
