Abstract

Transcript of virtual interview conducted with Dr. Enrique Gordillo, on April 20, 2021, in a meet space, by Dr. Olga Edith Ruiz, from the Academic Development Division - DDAand Arch. Mario Ramírez, from the Research Direction of the Faculty of Architecture, on the perceptions around the bicentennial, history, architecture in emblematic places of the Historic Center of Guatemala City. For the development of the interview, the emblematic places of the signing of independence, Instituto Belén, Pedro Molina's house, Santa Rosa temple were previously recorded.

Arquitecto con maestría en Conservación y Restauración de Monumentos y
maestría en Diseño Arquitectónico en la Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala. Beca CAPS en Arizona State University, maestría en Diseño de Hospitales en la Universidad de la Sapienza de Roma, y el Doctorado en Arquitectura en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, con mención honorífica. Actualmente es director de Investigación en la Facultad de Arquitectura de la USAC

Olga Edith Ruiz, Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala

Socióloga por la Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, con doctorado en la Universidad Pontificia de
Salamanca. Ha desarrollado investigaciones en el campo de la investigación educativa, actualmente es
investigadora en el Departamento de Investigación – DI – de la División de Desarrollo Académico DDA, en la Dirección General de Docencia, DIGED.
