In the journal Avance Year 8. Vol. 13-2018 No. 2 the interview with the plastic artist
Elmar René Rojas Azurdia was published as part of the data collection in the elaboration
of the doctoral thesis Plastic Integration in Modern Architecture of the Private
Sector of the City of Guatemala (1954-1976): a critical analysis of buildings, by Jorge
Mario López Pérez. Another of the significant interviews for this purpose was of Carlos Haeussler Uribio, who was one of the most important figures of the Modern Movement and of the Plastic Integration in Guatemala, leaving a recognized legacy through his works. The interview was semi-open and was conducted in the interviewee's office, located in zone 13 of Guatemala City, on November 27, 2013. Haeussler's contribution in the interview was of utmost importance to the share his concept of plastic integration and the way he applied it in works of the private sector and public sector.
