Abstract

The urban environment and nature are elements of a system that provides benefits on climate regulation and human beings heath. In this type of study an environmental cell was selected “El Condor” neighborhood from Jutiapa, a city that is conformed by neighborhoods and zones. All these converge as a whole, but each one has a different attribution of: infraestructure, habitability, economy and social aspects, therefore they can be analyzed independently, This methodology is based on theoretical field research and study of analogous cases. The objective of the research is to identify the characteristic elements for the revitalization with green areas, participation, and social integration in the El Cóndor neighborhood of the city of Jutiapa, resulting in the improvement of the quality of life of its inhabitants.
