Abstract

The most efficient and economical way to reduce disasters is prevention. Topic to be addressed by all sectors of the educational community. Exploring the physical and social conditions on campus that make people vulnerable to seismic hazards, based on this analysis to propose mitigation measures to prevent and reduce disaster risks.

Develop contingency plans to respond to a natural event (tropics) or caused by human activity (anthropogenic), strengthens local capacities in the organization and design for adaptation to the risk of seismic hazards.

The research develops an approach to link disaster risk management (rehabilitation group), with the spatial (spatial arrangements), characteristic of the architecture. Responding to the request of university authorities.
