Abstract

Architectonical objects, in their material condition, have been studied both scientific and philosophically under many points of view. In Physics per example, measurable aspects of the construction materials such as area, volume or weight are defined accurately, especially when giving information about it’s mechanical possibilities regarding the suitability
of their use to satisfy the architectonic needs. In Aesthetics when trying to determine the parameters of beauty of architectonical objects they’re classified considering the style. Chemistry analyzes the possibilities of resistance conditions of the construction materials coming from petrous, metallic, organic, artificial origins etc. But there is another aspect of
architectonical objects that needs to be taken in consideration. Besides its spatial, physic, chemic and aesthetic condition, architecture has also a temporal condition, but mostly often Time aspects are not taken in consideration. Architectonical aspects related with Time are intimately criss-crossed with philosophical conceptions. That’s why in this article we refer to philosophical conceptions such as Time
and Architecture coming from two different
cultures: The Western culture and the Mesoamerican Pre-Hispanic.
